Morpankh was born not just as a boutique store showcasing authentic Indian artisanship, but as a celebration of the timeless magic of handmade artistry and culture.
Founded by Meenakshi Dilawari, an educator by profession and an aesthete at heart, Morpankh is the manifestation of a lifelong love for art, heritage, and storytelling through objects. Having spent years immersed in the world of teaching and learning, Meenakshi had always believed in the power of culture as a teacher – and Indian art, with its myriad forms, became her new classroom. She designed Morpankh to share heritage through textures, palettes, and artforms, with every shelf, every corner, and every piece telling a story.
This elegant sandook showcases a soothing blue patina paired with antique brass detailing, capturing the essence of traditional Indian artistry. Handcrafted from solid wood, the vintage-style chest is adorned with intricate floral embossing and distressed accents that give it a rich, heritage character.
